What Ludus is
Wat Ludus is
Ludus is an app for people who play board games and want to remember it. You write down a game the moment it ends — who played, what the scores were, who won — and from then on the app does the counting.
It is built around a simple idea: the notes are yours. Everything lives on your own device and keeps working without internet, at the kitchen table where there is rarely any signal. An account is only there to carry your history between your phone and your computer, and to share what you choose to share with the people you play with.
Plays and scores
Potjes en scores
Per round, per category, or just who won. With a clock for how long it took.
Per ronde, per onderdeel, of gewoon wie er won. Met een klok voor hoelang het duurde.
Your shelf
Je kast
Your cabinet, compartment by compartment — and what you lent to whom.
Friends
Vrienden
One person writes the play down; everyone at the table gets it offered.
Levels and goals
Niveau en doelen
Not just how often you won, but against whom — and how you are doing against the game itself.
Your shelf, the way it actually stands
Je kast, zoals hij echt staat
Most trackers hand you a list. Ludus lets you rebuild your shelf the way it stands in your living room — the Kallax with its sixteen compartments, or whatever you happen to own — and put every game in its own slot.
So when someone asks whether you have Azul, you do not only know that you do. You know it is in the second compartment, top row. And when a game comes back from a friend, you know where it belongs.
